Why Inclusion Matters !

3 Facts That Demand Change - Hong Kong is a city of resilience—but systemic barriers exclude over 500,000 disabled residents from full participation. Here’s why this run matters:

  1. 1 in 8 Hongkongers lives with a disability
Yet only 2.3% of public sports facilities are fully accessible. We’re racing to close the gap.

  2. 43% employment rate for disabled adults (vs. 72% general population) Stigma and lack of adaptive workplaces fuel the gap.

  3. <5% of community sports programs cater to disabilities
We’re changing that—this run will feature wheelchair, prosthetic, and blind-athletes.
